At Steve the Mobile DJ, your peace of mind and the smooth running of your event are our top priorities. As a professional entertainment provider, I maintain comprehensive insurance and safety measures to meet venue requirements and protect both you and your guests.

Public Liability Insurance

I carry £10 million public liability insurance*, covering any unforeseen circumstances where third-party injury or property damage could occur during a booked event. Public liability insurance is widely regarded as essential for DJs and entertainers, and most venues now require proof of cover before allowing services to set up and perform.

This cover gives both you and your venue the reassurance that, should the unlikely happen, there is robust financial protection in place.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

All equipment used during your event is regularly Portable Appliance Tested (PAT tested) by a qualified technician. This annual electrical safety inspection confirms that all cables, lights, speakers, and power supplies meet required electrical safety standards and helps prevent electrical hazards. Many venues insist on PAT testing for visiting entertainers and service providers.
